Fridays and Flashbacks go together like mac and cheese. It’s one so here’s the other!
Here we have Deema as the Caterpillar, looking happy as always with her chocolate milk.
Here’s a comparison to the original, which was one of my favorite pieces for a very long time. It was even the background for my phone until I changed phones and forgot to transfer it. I’ve drawn better since, but I still like the concept so much. The remake is better drawn, but darned if I don’t prefer the original’s charm better.

Hey! Friday is Flashback Day! Hooray!
When all seems lost, the Ronin armors react and merge to form the Inferno armor, a new weapon in the fight against the Dynasty.
Normally, it should be Zoë wearing the Inferno armor since the Wildfire armor is the armor that transforms into the Inferno armor, but I needed something for Deema to wear so she got this one. I ditched the helmet as it didn’t fit on Deema when trying to keep her proportions better.
Here’s a comparison to the original. It’s just another case where I cheated too much in the original so it doesn’t really look like Deema other than the tail. That’s another reason why I ditched the helmet.

Heeeeeeey! It’s Wednesday! Time to share a mash-up! And it’s a new theme! Neeeeeat! And just because I want to add another exclamation mark… !
The Skylanders franchise was amazing. I loved getting new characters and trying them out in the game. The figures were beautifully designed. All around fun. But they kinda overdid it and I burned out on it. I punched out at Superchargers. I bought the base game and some of the figures on deep discount but I never finished it. I bought Imaginators and didn’t get figures and didn’t even start the game. I just figured I’d get them so I could play them if I so chose. Now obviously to do a mash-up theme, I had to choose Skylanders that wear clothes, that disqualifies some of my favorites like Trigger Happy and Whirlwind and made for some choices I wouldn’t have otherwise made like this week’s entry.
Here’s Deema as Dino-Rang. Green lizard character with a long tail…yeah that lines up. It’s a little on the simple side so that’s why I’m putting this one up first. In theory, the set gets better from here!
