Once upon a Wednesday dreary, while I wandered, beat and bleary,
Over many a quaint and curious page of internet lore—
I found Animus characters with pop culture garb that they wore.
Quoth the Carja, “I want more!”

Many apologies to the Poe estate for the butchery of a classic, but sometimes I have these funny ideas for introductions. I wish I’d thought of it in time for the Hallowe’en theme.

The Year of Mina continues with a visit to the Skylands! Yes Mina is dressed up as Trap Team member Tuff Luck!

Skylanders – Kaos

Time to close out the set!

Kaos is the main villain in Skylanders. In Trap Team you could capture his essence in a key to make him a playable character. I believe in Imaginators they finally made a Kaos figure proper.

Here’s our boy Skitter dressed as Kaos. An adorable villain right?

Hey kids! Where you wanna go? No. Not Uncle Nutzy’s Funhouse. To the Mash-up Zone!

I don’t know much about Splat. She was introduced after I had checked out from the series. She’s a Magic type and looks neat. That was enough to get picked.

Here we have Sass as Splat. Is pink Sass’ s colour?

Skylanders – Sprocket

Hey! It’s my week off and to celebrate here’s your regularly scheduled mash-up.

Sprocket is a Tech Skylander. Surprise, right? She was introduced in Giants and has been fixing and dismantling gear ever since.

Who else could play Sprocket? It had to be our boy Cyran. I suppose I could have gone with Deema, but come on! Sprocket carries a wrench and she wears goggles AND she has a purple shirt just like Cyran. It’s a natural fit.

Skylanders – Jet-Vac

Hellooooooooo! It’s Wednesday and time for a mash-up reveal. Let’s do that.

I was surprised when Jet-Vac turned out to be one of the core cast members of the Skylanders series on Netflix. I didn’t see him as a key character. But he turned out to be a fun add.

Here we have Todrick as Jet-Vac. Boy was that helmet tough. In theory there are slits in the top to let his ears poke through.
