The last mash-up of 2022 is here! Can you believe 2022 is almost over? Compared to the last couple of years, 2022 was a step up, but I can’t say it was one of the all-time greats either. I did reach my weight loss goal though so I’m happy about that. That’s about all the time for reflection I have today. Let’s get on to what pays the bills. Actually, that would be money. So rather let’s go on to what this feature is based on!

The Year of Mina continues with a romp through the Ronin Warriors, or Yoroiden Samurai Troopers if you’re more familiar with the original Japanese series. Mina once again gets to play the bad girl here as she plays the leader of the evil Dynasty, Talpa.

That’s all for this week. 2022 may be over, but the Year of Mina isn’t quite done yet! Come back next week to see how 2023 starts out with Mina (still) in the spotlight!

Good Friday fellow internauts! Time for a new mash-up to a flashback series!

Ully is the audience’s portal into the series. He’s a kid like you’d think much of the audience would be so they can relate to him. But if you’re older, he’s just the annoying kid sidekick.

Here’s Skitter as Ully. Super simple get-up, but he looks cute wearing it, right?

That’s all for this week. Next week we’re going through the looking glass for our next flashback series. See you Friday for the reveal!

Happy holidays everybody! Here’s a new Ronin Warriors piece!

Mia knows more about the Ronin armor than the Warriors themselves know. She’s there to educate the audience as well as the characters so we can learn as we go.

Here’s Chae as Mia. It’s an incredibly simple get-up so it translates easily to the character design.

That’s all for this week. Skitter closes things out next week. If you know anything about the show, you can probably guess from this week who he’s going to be. Come back next Friday for the reveal.

You’re not imagining things. It’s a Flashback Friday on Sunday. This time it’s not about me forgetting to post. I just ran out of time to get everything done with preparations for this year’s Christmas party. So here we are on Sunday evening and I just finished the coloring of this piece.

Lady Kayura is one of my favorite characters in Ronin Warriors. Again, a villain with a little more in way of backstory. She was powerful and cocky about it. Star Sword Scream!

Here’s Nektara as Lady Kayura. Since Kayura doesn’t have bulky armor, this piece turned out a lot better than most of the rest.

And a comparison to the original. The original definitely looks rushed looking back.

That’s it for Ronin Warriors flashbacks. Next week we have the first of two new pieces for Chae and Skitter. Chae first!

Hey! Friday is Flashback Day! Hooray!

When all seems lost, the Ronin armors react and merge to form the Inferno armor, a new weapon in the fight against the Dynasty.

Normally, it should be Zoë wearing the Inferno armor since the Wildfire armor is the armor that transforms into the Inferno armor, but I needed something for Deema to wear so she got this one. I ditched the helmet as it didn’t fit on Deema when trying to keep her proportions better.

Here’s a comparison to the original. It’s just another case where I cheated too much in the original so it doesn’t really look like Deema other than the tail. That’s another reason why I ditched the helmet.

That’s all for this week! Another flashback next Friday!
