Hey folks. I was feeling a little under the weather yesterday so no blog. Today’s blog is gonna be short as it’s Tuesday morning and I have to go to work shortly.
We had game night on Saturday. It was exactly the kind of fun I needed after a week of feeling sorta down. We’re rotating who gets to pick the game(s) we play (mostly from my collection admittedly) and Daniel picked one from my unplayed pile, Beowulf: The Legend for the first and DC Comics Deck-Building Game for the second. Beowulf is a game that I got during Fantasy Flight Games’ yearly Holiday a couple of years back sale for $5. After playing the game I can’t say that I would have bought it at a much higher price. It’s not a BAD game. It’s a well-designed game with a solid bidding mechanic. It just didn’t have that high fun factor that I’m after. The two games of DC that we played were much more fun in my opinion.
Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy again on Sunday and I can pretty safely say now that it’s my favorite Marvel movie to date. So much fun!
Spent the rest of Sunday feeling a little wonky to the stomach which lasted into the night (didn’t get my second comic drawn) and into Monday which leads me to today. I’m feeling better now though! So that’s the weekend! Have a good week folks!
