Greetings and salutations loyal blog readers! Thanks for coming back!
I was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally lazy this weekend. By Sunday at 5pm, I had completed: 1 mash-up. I also had started work on: 1 flashback. So not even 50% of my workload was done. I was able to draw one strip and I only have the colouring to do on the flashback, so now I’m at 66% done. I should be able to either finish the flashback or draw the second strip tonight leaving the other for tomorrow. I can live with that.
What did I do all weekend? Well, there was a dinner party at Fab’s on Saturday. I started getting ready for that at around 2pm and I got home around 2am (we had a great time). Sunday I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy for the third time (did I mention that movie is awesome?) I was going to watch Summerslam on Sunday night, but I got so frustrated trying just to place the order for the pay-per-view, that I decided to forget it. At least I got some of that late work done.
I have 8 strips left to write in Year 3 of the Funnies. Mouser had Red Rich, Tomaw and Skitter in his sights in Thursday’s strip. This begins the biggest hurdle I had left to jump to be able to start the end game of the current storyline. I can say with some assurance that it will end sometime during Year 4. I’d say I was aiming for before Christmas, but we all know how well that went LAST year. It’ll end when it ends.
I thought I had more to write, but my mind’s gone blank. I guess that concludes this week’s blog. Have a good week folks!
