X-Men – Shadowcat and Lockheed

The weekend almost slipped by without me remembering to post the last X-Men Flashback. Almost.

Here’s Sass and Mouser as Shadowcat and Lockheed. I started shading this piece and had finished Sass when horror of horrors, the software crashed. I couldn’t recover the work so I had to start over. What a pain in the rear. But I’m really happy with the final results.

Here’s a comparison to the original mash-up. I changed the wall of the original piece to match the new one. I chose note to redo the dust effect.

Hallowe’en – The Dead

Creepy greetings and crawly salutations all. It’s time for some more Hallowe’en fun!

This week we have a mummy, a skeleton and a ghost, played by Big Oonch, Sass and Zoë respectively.

Here’s Zoë as the ghost. I really didn’t know how to colour this one. It’s..alright.

Here’s Big Oonch as a mummy. He had a little trouble with the bandages.

Here’s Sass as a skeleton. This is my favorite of the three. I get a flashback of the original Karate Kid looking at it.

Hey. Still feeling blah today. Let’s liven things up with our flashback of the week.

Here are Sass and Mouser. I really like how it turned out. I mean really. I tried action pieces for the other ones and had to start over. This one worked.

Here’s a comparison to the original piece. The original was an action piece as well and pretty good for the time. There we see Sass with the diamond already in her possession. This time, we see where she originally picked it up.
