Here we are again, late on Monday with me not having written my blog yet. The truth is, I don’t know what to write about. When I talk about what I’m doing on the site, I worry that it sounds like I’m tooting my own horn, not to mention I feel that it all starts sounding pretty repetitive after a while. Of course, I suppose a certain amount of horn-tooting is expected if I want to get my site out there. It just feels awkward ya know?
Okay, let’s toot a little. Friday I worked on next week’s mash-ups. I put up a little preview on Facebook. I decided to move away from movies and comics this time out. I am really pleased how they turned out. Feel free to guess what’s coming up! Only, you don’t have that much time to guess before Wednesday. It sure would be swell if ya did though! I’d know you all were keeping up with the site!
Saturday and Sunday I drew my two strips and I’m getting closer to the end of the Crimson Coast storyline…even if the last strip from it won’t appear before September. I’ve gotta start thinking of the next arc. I have ideas for stuff to come later down the line, but it’s not time for those yet. So c’mon brain! Do your thing!
On Sunday, I worked on Kerfuffle Shuffle again. It’d been a LONG time since I did that. As I was working on card layouts, I changed some ideas, refined others. I still have no idea if what I have will work as a game. Boy I hope so!
Late last night I also resumed reading A Dance with Dragons. I’ve had the book for a year now and I still haven’t finished. Makes me wonder why I was in a rush to get the hardcover. If I’d known it’d take me this long to read it, I’d have waited for the paperback. Don’t get me wrong though! I’m enjoying the book. I just haven’t been in an intense reading mood. I’m getting there though if Sunday night is any indication. I only stopped because I couldn’t keep my eyes open a second longer. I thought I’d read more today, but I got distracted with laundry and other mundane things.
