Hey all,
I’m late with the blog again this week. That’s what happens when I don’t work on Mondays…I forget that it’s blog day. Oh well, better late than never, right?
First off, let me give a shout out to little Adrien Marc Noel whose baptism I attended yesterday. He’s two months old and I just now got around to seeing him. Pure laziness on my part. I will say, he is a handsome little devil. His momma has a right to be proud.
It had been some time since I’d last set foot in a church. If I’m not mistaken, the last time was for my grandmother’s funeral. A funeral followed by a baptism pretty much covers the circle of life doesn’t it? St. James’ is a nice Anglican church in Trois-Rivieres. They have bilingual services which is really nice. The parishioners were very friendly, though not numerous at all. I think we tripled the regular attendance with the folks there for the baptism.
You’d think that with the baptism on Sunday and me writing the blog so late that I mustn’t have much else left to do this weekend. Well, actually, just as soon as I finish this I’ll be getting ready to see my friend Frank perform in Amos Daragon at Cité de l’Energie. He doesn’t have a speaking role, but he gets a dance number. Should be fun, but it’ll be way late before the play ends. There are fireworks involved which is why it starts so late.
Not as productive a weekend this weekend, though I did get eight of my nine mashups for this weekend done, as well as two pages for the September project (I’ll have to think up some kind of code name for it) as well as my regular two Funnies.
Okay, I really need to get ready now, so I’m gonna cut this short. Talk to you all again next Monday (assuming I remember it’s blog day!)
