Hello and greetings! I’m writing from the apartment. I’m all settled in. It’s so weird after ten years writing these from the house. That will be a discussion for another day. Let’s get on with the mash-up shall we?

King’s Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella, introduced another protagonist. I’ve never played it, but Rosella is one of the big characters I think. So here we have Sass dressed up as Rosella as she appears in her first KQ game.

Time to shine little mash-up! Time to shine!

I played Quest for Glory III back in the day and I really enjoyed it. You get to name the character you play so I wouldn’t have used the name Devon Aidendale. That’s apparently the default name though, so that’s what I’m using.

Ol’ Devon has three options. Three options? Sounds like a good fit for Red Rich! So here he is as a fighter, a wizard and a thief…not that Red Rich would ever perform acts of thievery. Nor would Green Rich for that matter.

Sierra Online – Roger Wilco

Welcome back! Your dreams were your ticket out. Welcome back! To that strange old place that you laughed about! That showed mash-ups! Yes! Welcome Back, Mash-ups! It’s been a whole week but it’s felt more like seven days. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Oh man! I remember walking to the back of Radio Shack to check out the game shelf they had and seeing this thing called Space Quest, Chapter I – The Sarien Encounter. It looked great! It’s actually the first Sierra game I got and it got the ball rolling and it’s my favorite of the Sierra series on the strength of the first three titles. I’ve only played a few minutes of IV and VI.

Here’s Todrick as everybody’s favorite space janitor. I’m assuming here because I’ve never seen the show Space Janitors. This Darby Richards character may actually be the bomb, but I’m going to go with the janitor I know, over the one I don’t. So yay Roger Wilco!

Ohhhhh yeah! We’re starting a new theme! Can you dig it? Let us do this thing! This thing called mash-ups!

I have a lot of good memories playing Sierra games on my old Tandy 1000 SX. They were tough but I loved them! Enough to do a mash-up theme on them? Yes.

Here’s Big Oonch as the first Sierra hero of them all, Graham of King’s Quest. Dontcha just love the hat?
