Hey! Friday is Flashback Day! Hooray!

When all seems lost, the Ronin armors react and merge to form the Inferno armor, a new weapon in the fight against the Dynasty.

Normally, it should be Zoë wearing the Inferno armor since the Wildfire armor is the armor that transforms into the Inferno armor, but I needed something for Deema to wear so she got this one. I ditched the helmet as it didn’t fit on Deema when trying to keep her proportions better.

Here’s a comparison to the original. It’s just another case where I cheated too much in the original so it doesn’t really look like Deema other than the tail. That’s another reason why I ditched the helmet.

That’s all for this week! Another flashback next Friday!

Hola amigos! It is Friday and today I shall sing to you about the most delicious food in the whole world! Orrrrrrrr I’ll just share a flashback.

Dais is the sneakiest of the Dark Warlords. He’s the Warlord of Illusion so you know he’s not going to put himself out there if he doesn’t have to. I mentioned this last week that I like his armor design the best of the Warlords.

Here’s our old friend Clive in Dais’ armor. The legs bother me as they have on pretty much every piece in this set. This isn’t as bad as Sekhmet last week, but I’m still not happy with this one. It exists.

Here’s the comparison to the original. The original is kinda soft when it comes to details, and the proportions were still weak, but it was alright.

That’s all for the week and that’s the last of the Warlords. Who’s coming up next week? Come back Friday to find out!

Friiiiiiiiiiiday! Yeah!

Sekhmet is the creepiest of the Dark Warlords, with the snake theme and the dark personality. He has a great voice. I prefer Dais’s armor, but I like Sekhmet more as a character.

Here’s Wilson of the Pickle Patch Bandits as Sekhmet. I won’t sugar coat it. This one isn’t one of my best. I just pushed through and finished it. It’s definitely the weakest piece in the set.

Here’s a comparison to the original. If the original were smoother and in the right proportions I’d say it was a much better piece overall. I don’t often say that.

That’s all for this week. The last of the Dark Warlords shows up next Friday.

Time for a flashback!

Cale is the Dark Warlord of Darkness. As expected, he often ends up pitted against Sage of Halo who harnesses the light. I think Cale is the least spectacular of the Warlords. He’s just there.

Hey! It’s Nolan of the Pickle Patch Bandits! It’s been so long since we’ve seen him. Here he is in his only mash-up participation to date.

Here’s a comparison to the original. Again, the proportions to the original are off, but it maybe doesn’t show as much with Nolan given that he’s taller than most of the other characters.

That’s all for this week! Another Dark Warlord emerges next Friday!

Hey there! Time to flashback!

I think Ronin Warriors is one of the earliest shows I remember with a redeemed villain storyline. Anubis is the youngest of the Dark Warlords and ostensibly Talpa’s favorite. The Ancient manages to get through to him and he turns over a new leaf trying to follow in the Ancient’s footsteps and do the same for Lady Kayura. It’s great stuff.

I know that when I think cruelty, I think Cyran. He was the natural choice to gear up in the Armor of Cruelty.

Here’s a comparison to the original. I dig the perspective I was going for in the original. I could not figure it out again for the remake.

That’s all for this week. Another Dark Warlord joins the fray next Friday!
