Hello! I JUST finished this week’s piece five minutes ago and here it is! In retrospect, I might have tried to post this one four weeks from now. Why?
Because here we have Big Oonch as The March Hare. I don’t know what happened. A while back, the software I use to draw these crashed and my favorite brushes got wiped out. This has happened a few times and I always find my way back to the brushes I’m used to. This last time, not so much, so if you’ve noticed a difference in the colouring of the pieces that’s why. This one is alright.
Here’s a comparison to the original piece. The new seems less energetic than the original somehow.
New piece next week! What could it be? Come back Friday to find out?
I’m writing this on a Wednesday to post on a Friday. I’m completely mad! (Yup! I did it again!)
Here we have Todrick as the Mad Hatter. I don’t know what it is about hats, but apart from Oonch’s, which is too simple to mess up, I just don’t have it.
Here’s the comparison to the original. The biggest difference is the colour palette I chose. I went for less flamboyant colours this time around.
That’s all for this week. Perhaps a partner of the Mad Hatter will be around next Friday. Find out then!
Happy Friday! Smile! It’s flashback time! (see what I did there?)
Here we have Sass as the Cheshire Cat. Such a bright smile, right?
Here’s the comparison to the original. I really learned a lot about posing in the interim years. There was no way I was going to be able to repeat the old pose.
Hello and Good Friday! If I were being thematic, I’d post this late so I could say, “I’m late!”
Here’s Cyran as the White Rabbit. This felt like a no-brainer as far as match-ups go.
Here’s a comparison to the original. I really liked the shading on the coat for the time. I think the new one is a decent attempt of doing the same thing better.
