Shucks howdy! How y’all doin’? It’s Wednesday and that’s a day for mashin’!

It’s Hallowe’en and this week we’re looking at some classic costume ideas: a witch, a vampire and a spider. Deema’s scale isn’t quite right compared to the other two, but you get the idea.

Here’s Nektara by herself. Because the hat makes the picture so tall, the whole thing looks rather small when I shrink it to the usual dimensions. This was the first piece I drew for the Hallowe’en set because it’s such a classic. The brim of her hat is iffy, but the rest is solid.

Here’s Todrick by himself. Yeah, I’m digging this.

And finally, here’s Deema…by herself. It’s okay. The plush effect of the spider costume isn’t something I’m all that good at. It is what it is.

Too Consumed In Their Masquerade

Just another manic Monday. Wish it were a Sunday. Don’t be sad, dawg, it’s time to blog.

I will start this post by wishing my sister a happy birthday. She doesn’t read this, but it’s out there (I actually saw her about an hour ago to wish her a happy birthday in person).

After that, a hearty congratulations to Bryan and Guil, Les Frères Reno (my friends Gilles and Brian, the Renaud brothers) for winning the FCL tag team championships on Friday night. Shawimania 2 didn’t quite hit the same sweet spot that the first one did. I didn’t like the venue at all. The second triple threat was awesome and it was great to see my friends win the titles though, so I’ll still give it a thumbs up.

I got Everdell and Too Many Bones to the table over the weekend. It was pretty a good time. The second attempt at the Too Many Bones campaign worked better than the first as we won. We played at three and while the challenges ramp up faster, I feel having the third player just gave us more options.

I don’t really have much else to say this week, so I’ll just close by wishing you all a good seven and we’ll do this all again next Monday. Carja V.

Age of Animus – Chae

It’s Friday and there’s been content every day this week. Neat! Let’s keep it rolling with our last flashback that isn’t really a flashback of this set.

Chae just sort of happened. New characters kept popping up in the Finding Skitter storyline. I really liked the way she turned out so I promoted her to the main cast. So here she is.
