Hello Monday my old friend. I’m here to blog with you again. Because a feeling softly shrinking, left its mark when I was thinking. And the feeling that was planted in my head. Isn’t dead. From the sounds…of typing.
Okay, not my best work but for under five minutes of work it’ll do.
I have one shading left to go before I’m done with the Space Age of Animus flashbacks. It’s now time to start thinking of the next set. Something new? Another flashback? Hmmm…maybe Armello.
Les Dés Truqués had a big sale on Saturday. 15-50% off all games in the store section and people could bring in games they wanted to part with in exchange for monetary compensation. So yeah, it was like a gaming garage sale as well. I picked up a used copy of the original Arcadia Quest for less than half the retail price. That’s some substantial savings right there. The other big purchase was the Mega Man Board Game which I tried out yesterday. My thoughts are…mixed. Everything is there for it to be a great game. It’s very thematic. A lot of thought was put into tying the game’s mechanics to the video game. It just needed a little more work before being released. The rulebook was lacking with some seemingly very common situations left uncovered. The game is LONG with only two players and it can play up to eight! That way leads to madness. Four is the very most I’d want to try it at. So no, I haven’t given up on it yet.
Three days to go before vacation. Woot! Have a good seven y’all and we’ll do this again next Monday. Carja V.
