Good golly, Miss Molly! It’s Friday! What’s that? You’re not Miss Molly? Oh…well, it’s still Friday.<\/p>\n

Last week I said I was pushing the flashback that was supposed to go up then to now. But why? To coincide with the season finale of Arrow. It’s nice how these things work out, huh? I’m really enjoying Arrow. It’s a great take on my favorite superhero, Green Arrow and the producers have been doing a great job of incorporating elements of the DC Universe in interesting ways unlike some other current TV shows based on comic properties.<\/p>\n

When it came time to decide what version of Green Arrow I was going to use for the flashback, the Arrow costume was the obvious choice. So here’s Todrick taking aim. As always, you can click on a picture to enlarge it. For comparative purposes I’ve included the original picture of Arrow I based the piece on.<\/p>\n

For those of you who were wondering, this is the picture I saved in the wrong format and had to reink and recolour. Below is how the first pass looked like when I stripped the colour from it so I could relayer it. The deterioration of the linework isn’t as obvious in this reduced version. The second attempt turned out better even without taking that into consideration.<\/p>\n

And here’s the comparison picture with the original mashup. One thing I was really proud of in the original was the posing. I still think that came out well.<\/p>\n
