Mmmmm…Friday! I love Fridays! That’s a day for flashbacks! Speaking of…

Blasting through the sky, comes a fearful cry, KITTY!

It’s Kitty (Cobra) time again! And this week it’s the boss’s turn to shine. It’s Sass as Kitty Commander! Remember to click on any image to enlarge it.

And here’s the comparison to the original mash-up. I remember really being happy with the original mash-up. I covered all the details of Cobra Commander’s uniform and liked the shining effect on the faceplate achieved with solid colours. The new one is an improvement on all points of course.

It’s another Rangery Wednesday of the Power variety today. Remember that you can totally enlarge a picture if you click on it.

Here’s Cyran as the Blue Ranger. His short limbs always make poses like this interesting. And by interesting I mean a challenge. He looks really happy though doesn’t he?

Flashback Friday – Hulk

Hey there kool kats and kittens! It’s that time again so I’m taking a little break from drawing a new flashback to post this week’s installment.

Didn’t we just do an Avengers flashback a couple of weeks ago? Well it’s time for another one now!

It’s not easy being green. Especially when you’re normally brown. Just ask Barnaby who’s dressing up as the Incredible Hulk this week. It takes a lot of green fur paint and that stuff’s a real pain to wash out. The character builds don’t really look good with excessive musculature so I left Barnaby’s proportions as they are.

HulkHere’s a comparison with the original mash-up. It’s good enough for the time. The simple costume worked well with what I was doing at the time.

Power Rangers – Black Ranger

Good morning! Or whatever time period it is for you. It’s Wednesday Mash-up time! I know you’re as excited as I am to get into this so let’s go!

More Power Rangers this week. When I did the Red Ranger last week I thought it might be a one and done kind of deal, but the following week, I wasn’t sure what to do next. so I just went on with the rest of the group.

This week, we have Barnaby as the Black Ranger. Anybody know what those things the Power Rangers have in their holsters are? I have no idea what they’re called.

Flashback Friday – Black Canary

Is it deja vu? No it’s another flashback. Isn’t a flashback pretty much deja vu? Well uhhh…It’s Friday! (nice recovery…)

Deema’s back as this week dressed up as a superhero from the DC Universe, but not the one she was dressed as originally. I had little to no interest in drawing the Miss Martian costume again, so I decided to go with a new outfit this time around. As always, click on a picture to enlarge it.

Black Canary is known for her Canary Cry, so I played around in Photoshop to see what kind of effect I could add to represent that.
