Welcome back to the Wednesday Mash-up.

This week we go a little lower key with one of my favorite movies, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

First off, we have Rick S. Preston, Esquire, played of course by Todrick. When I was drawing my Cats tribute, I finally drew full sleeves on the cast. Now I’m experimenting with pants. It’s a big step in their evolution, at least in the mash-ups. We’ll see how it goes.

It would have made sense to have it be Rich and Tod’s Excellent Adventure, but I decided to cast Red Rich as Ted. And then, as I was saying their full names out loud, it came to me, Red Richedore Logan. It was just too sweet. In fact, if I hadn’t already set it so that Rich was short for Richmond, I would use Richedore. Oh well.

Guiding Rick and Red, is their mentor from the future, Rufoonch.

It’s an abridged edition this week after the two Joe weeks. Until next time…Be excellent to each other, and PARTY ON DUDES!

It’s that time of week again when pop culture and Age of Animus are on a collision course that produces super awesomeness. It’s time for the Wednesday Mash-up.

Today we go back to the Marvel Universe to complete our look at the Avengers line-up. For those of you who didn’t see part one, you can go back through the artwork archives or click here.

First up, we have the mauve archer, Cooneye, played by the one and only Red Rich, wearing a special purple mask for the occasion. It’s a shame purple isn’t one of the three colours I chose for him because he looks good in it.

Moving right along, we come to Iron Cat, played by the ever cute, Sass. Her distinctive head shape makes it so that I can cover her face with a helmet and you still know instantly who it is…but I drew her without the mask on anyway.

Rounding out the heroes is the mouse running the show, Zo Fury rocking the eye patch and trench coat. Unfortunately, it was the least intricate design, so there’s some pizzazz missing.

And last but not least, is the villain of our piece, played as is custom by Todrick: that manic god of mischief, Loki.

That’s it for this week. I have no ideas yet for next week, so it’ll be a big surprise for all of us.
