Mash-ups to the left of me! Mash-ups to the right of me! Volley and THUNDER! Or just more mash-ups!

Picking a villain for Mina to play was a lot easier than picking a hero. I’m not 100% sure why I didn’t use Hordak already. I’m not sure how I feel how about this one. There are things I like and others I don’t feel quite turned out right. But it’s another one in the books!

That’s all for this week. Next week we venture where no one has gone before. Well, actually I have gone there before. And I’m totally gonna go there again. You’ll see where next week (assuming you didn’t figure out my super hard clue).

Hello you! Welcome back! Thanks for visiting and checking out the new mash-up!

As I checked out which characters Mina might play for Masters of the Universe, the one that stood out was Clamp Champ. The big gimmick was his clamp, which of course takes up most of the design. The costume itself would have been pretty easy to do otherwise.

Heeeeeeeey! Welcome back! Thanks for dropping by! Did you come to see a new mash-up? Well too bad you’re gonna see one anyway!

I really liked Wild Weasel’s action figure as a kid. He was dressed all in red and had a really cool looking helmet. But see, the helmet covers his whole face and that’s something I’ve been trying to avoid with mash-ups because I want to see the faces. On top of that, he’s a vehicle driver so he didn’t have a classic figure card. But his name is Wild WEASEL! Come on! I had to pick him for Mina. I think this one turned out kinda snazzy.

G.I. JOE – Ripcord

This is the intro to the mash-up, the paragraph into to the mash-up. Carja called me up and asked if I could write an intro. I’m almost halfway finished. How do you like it so far? How do you like the intro to the mash-up? (If you get it, you get it).

The year of Mina continues and this week it’s G.I. JOE. Tough choice for the Joe side. I won’t do Snake-Eyes because…it’s Snake-Eyes. My memories of playing with Ripcord came to mind as I was thinking so I went with it. I thought the posing would be an interesting challenge. It didn’t turn out half-bad by my standards. I think this is a fun one.

DC Superheroes – Zatanna

I’m ahead of the game! I’ve built a small buffer of mash-ups and I actually finished the colouring of one of them over the weekend instead of right before this normally goes up! Let’s get right to it then!

Zatanna is a magic-wielding human who masquerades as a stage magician. She’s pretty good at slinging spells too. She casts them by speaking backwards, which I think works better when you see it on the comic page then if you were hearing her say the words backwards.

So that’s who Mina got this time around. I’m pretty pleased with how the posing turned out.
