Hey everybody! Welcome to the conclusion of the Star Trek Mash-ups!

Going back to Classic Trek, here’s Sass as Yeoman Rand.

Next up, we can see Red Rich sporting the classy uniforms from Star Treks II through VI, looking remarkably similar to how he did in Imperial greys (though without as much of a condescending look).

Then we skip over a couple of centuries to the Next Generation period. Here’s Oonchie LaForge (with visor to hide his eyes of course).

And finally, another alien race, here’s Zoë as a Romulan.

I have no idea yet what theme will be next. Check in next Wednesday to see what I come up with!

It’s Wednesday Mash-up time again! And this week, we conclude for now our run of Star Wars mash-ups.

First up, let’s see the main villain/hero of the saga, Darth Fox,

Following him, is his old Doremi Master, Oonchie Wan

And then there’s Darth Fox’s accomplice, the Imperial commander, Red Moff Rich, whom some of you may have seen as a preview sketch on our Facebook page.

Finally, there’s the baron-administrator of Cloud City, the suave and debonair, Barnabo Calourssian!

Hope you enjoyed the Star Wars mash-ups. I’ll be returning to them in the future. Next week: Something new!

For those of you who don’t read the blog, or for those who do, but still prefer to have the artwork centralized in the artwork section (radical concept I know) here are the Animus hockey players I put on my Facebook page this weekend.

First, there’s Todrick, fervent supporter of the St. Louis Blues. He isn’t wearing a Caps jersey because his fur is red and I wanted a different coloured jersey to contrast.

But I am a Washington Capitals fan, so I HAD to include them as well. Here’s Cyran, sporting an Ovechkin-style visor AND a nifty hockey stick attachment for his wrench.

Finally, I admit it was pandering given where I live, but here’s the Big Oonch who hopes (like I do) that the NHL someday soon rights one of its wrongs and brings the Nordiques back to Quebec.

Before I started drawing the Funnies. I drew a model sheet that I was to refer to when drawing the characters. I hadn’t designed Popkin yet, but you get a look at Copley, the character that isn’t.

You can click on the picture to embiggen it.

The  colours have changed only slightly. The overall looks are pretty much the same, though my drawing style is different. Barnaby has lost his rope belt, Zoë now has a Mouse Wing badge. Red Rich and Sass have grown taller and Todrick and Cyran have gotten a little more stout.

At the time when I drew this, I guess I figured that there would be combat scenes or something. Cyran’s wrench is in his right paw instead of his left as this was before I came up with the gag that it was stuck in his paw.
