Welcome back to the Wednesday Mash-up folks.

This week we continue our look at the heroes of Eternia (and Etheria), the Masters of the Universe. As ever, click to embiggen.

First up, is Prince Todrick’s sister Princess Nektara. When she holds the Sword of Protection aloft and recites the words,”For the Honor of Furskull! I am She-Nek!” she transforms into She-Nek, the Princess of Power.

The mighty Oonchanek is a scout. He can extend his neck to see far ahead. I first drew Oonchanek with his neck extended, then I used photoshop to cut the head and place it on his shoulders. Easy-peasy.

Lizard at Arms’s adoptive daughter is Sassla. She is the king’s captain of the guard, charged with training Prince Todrick in the ways of battle. She doesn’t know that her disappointing charge is actually He-Fox.

Finally, we have Ram-Bear. Even though he’s slow-witted, Ram-Bear is a hero who likes to use his head…to knock things over. Shading-wise, I think he turned out the best of the heroes.

That’s all for the heroes of the Masters of the Universe and the mash-ups for this week. Come back next week when we look at the villains from Snake Mountain!

Welcome back to the Wednesday Mash-up!

For this week’s theme, I chose the world’s most famous fictional archaeologist, Indiana Jones. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

First up, is the titular character, Oonchiana Jones. Oonchie is a professor of archaeology who travels the world searching for lost relics of ancient civilizations. Here he is sporting his trademark eye-obscuring fedora, leather jacket and bullwhip. He’s ready for anything.

Oonchie’s father, Cyran Jones Sr., is a respected scholar in his own right, though he is obsessed with finding the Cup of the Six. The legendary cup said to have quenched the thirst of the Six when they walked the land following the fall of Man.

When Oonchie is in the desert, as was the case when he was looking for the Lost Box of the Covenant, there’s one fur he trusts for help above all others, Barnah is a big bear with a strong back and a stronger heart.

Finally, when Oonchie was in Vawsing, he met with Small Round, a local streetmouse who helped him out as he explored the Spire of Doom.

It’s another abridged edition of the Mash-ups this week. I wanted to feature the cast members who didn’t make it into the Scooby-Doo theme, and really, after these four, I didn’t feel there was anybody else from the Indiana Jones franchise that I wanted to include (sorry Marion and Marcus Brody fans). So that’s it for now! See you next Wednesday for more mash-ups!

Welcome back to the Wednesday Mash-up!

After last week’s intensive mash-up, I decided to go with something a little simpler for this week’s installment. Truth be told, I’m not a huge Scooby-Doo fan. However, these were quick to draw and I like the end results better as mash-ups. I like how that works out.

First up, we have the titular character of our show, Barney-Doo. Here Barney-Doo is preparing to have himself some Barney Snacks.

Barney-Doo’s best friend is Shagrick. He’s a little bit of a scaredy-fox.

The leader of the gang is Fred Rich. Doesn’t he look smashing?

The brains of the operation is Velmara.

And finally, the beauty is Sassney.

That’s it! No Scrappy-doos here! Come back next week for another Mash-up.
