Welcome to another Wednesday Mash-up! This week we delve into the world of programs and users, the world of Tron!

Serving as our titular character, Cyran is Tron. Here he is about to receive the energy wrench that contains the code to stop the Master Control Tinker (MCT).

Every good program needs a good girl program to stand by his side. Yeah, apparently girl programmers make girl programs and boy programmers make boy programs. Anyway, here is Nektara as Yori.

Flynn is a user. He’s from the world outside the computer. When he takes a closer look at the MCT, the devious program digitizes him into the system. Flynn is played here by Blue Rich.

And finally, the MCT charges Sark with keeping its peace on the grid. Again playing the heavy is Todrick.

That’s it for our look at the world of Tron! Come back for something new next time!

It’s Wednesday Mash-up time again! And this week, we conclude for now our run of Star Wars mash-ups.

First up, let’s see the main villain/hero of the saga, Darth Fox,

Following him, is his old Doremi Master, Oonchie Wan

And then there’s Darth Fox’s accomplice, the Imperial commander, Red Moff Rich, whom some of you may have seen as a preview sketch on our Facebook page.

Finally, there’s the baron-administrator of Cloud City, the suave and debonair, Barnabo Calourssian!

Hope you enjoyed the Star Wars mash-ups. I’ll be returning to them in the future. Next week: Something new!

For Mash-Up Wednesday this week, as promised, we continue with that galaxy far, far away.

First, we have the hero of our story, young Nek Skyourser, who wields the weapon of the legendary Doremi Knights, the rhythmic blade of a flutesaber.

And to complete the gender reversal role, young Nek will come to the rescue of Prince Cyran! He’s the only one with the ears to pull off the cinnabun hairdo, even if he has to dye them brown! (The picture needed some colour anyway)

I’ll be honest. I had a long weekend and I totally forgot about the mashups until Tuesday night, so I only had time to do these two. I’m not saying there would have been a LOT more if I’d started earlier, but there would at least have been a third! Oh well, you’ll have to come back next week for more! (What a shame!)

Welcome back to Mash-up Wednesday!

This week’s installment is not as big as last week’s. Rather than include everybody in the same post this week, I decided to spread them out. The fact that these are the only ones I’ve drawn so far has absolutely nothing to do with my decision! No really!

This week, we take a trip to the distant past in a far-off galaxy. It seems every cartoon/comic has to do a Star Wars bit at some point. So let’s get started.

First up, we have the pilot of the Millimetre Bluebird, the wily Con(nie) Zo-lo!

Next up, is her feathery co-pilot, Popkinacca, who can only speak Picklese.

The last one for this week is the tinker duo of Sasspio and Mousertoo.

I’ll have more Star Wars mash-ups next week! Seeya then!

Welcome to Mash-up Wednesday, a new feature here at Age of Animus! Here I experiment crossing Age of Animus characters with other pop culture icons. I’m not going to guarantee a new mash-up every week, but when I have a new one to share, it’ll be posted on Wednesdays.

Without further ado, let’s get to this week’s mash-ups:

I’m a big DC Comics fan, and I thought it’d be fun to draw the Animus Funnies as superheroes.

First, there’s Aquafox!

At night, the streets of Sixtus are watched over by Rab-Bat!

Rab-Bat is often at odds with Catfeline! She was the trickiest character to name actually. With the other “Man” or “Woman” names, I’d simply substitute the species of the character, but in this case, that would have given Catcat.

Moving right along, here’s Wonder Bear!

And because one good bear deserves another, here’s Superbear, ready to fight for truth, justice and the Animus way! I thought of inverting the S on his chest, you know, because Barnaby isn’t very smart. But then, you’d think he was Bizarro, not Superman!

Patrolling the skies is the mighty Hawkmouse! Zoë was almost Green Lantern, until I thought that since she flies as a member of the Mouse Wing this made a lot of sense.

Next we have The Question!

Okay, so that felt like a cheat, so I drew another Big Oonch superhero, Captain Oonchvel! (I still found a way to not show his eyes!)

Since Oonch got to be two heroes, I decided Cyran would also pull double duty as The Fastest Rabbit Alive, the Flash (because the wings of Flash’s mask made for another way to work in Cyran’s ears)

I make no secret about Green Arrow being my favorite superhero, so I couldn’t leave him out of this. Here’s Red’n’Green Arrow! (I’m really pleased with how the pose turned out on this one!)

And finally we have Red Rich!

What? Red Rich is already a superhero! Okay fine, here he is as Green Lantern, looking suspiciously like former Lantern, Ch’p!

That’s it for this instalment! See you next time!
