Heigh-ho! HEIGH-HO! Heigh-ho! Heigh-ho! It’s to flashbacks we go. I discovered a new game called Storybrook Brawl and it reminds me of gToons which is a game I greatly enjoyed on the Cartoon Network website. In it, there’s a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs-inspired combo that I find pretty strong when I can set it up early enough. So yeah, I’ve got dwarfs on the brain. Anyway, on to the flashback.

Vivi is a Black Mage. In the beginning he lacks confidence and questions his existence. He has a great story arc and he’s one of my favorite characters in the game.

Here’s Cyran as Vivi. I am really happy with how this one turned out. The hat especially.

Here’s a comparison to the original. Oh yeah! The original was one of the weaker pieces of the set and this one builds on it in every way possible. It’s much clearer that it’s Cyran in there too.

That’s all for this week. Come back next week for some more Fantastical Finales. Tally-ho!

Good afternoon Flashback Faithful! It’s that time again, so without further ado, let us do a-this!

Steiner is a knight. He’s Princess Garnet’s bodyguard and he’s also a world-class stick-in-the-mud. But once he trusts you he is completely loyal. You can’t ask for a better soldier.

Here’s Big Oonch playing the imposing Steiner. Oh boy! This was probably the one I was most worried about. I’m not going to say it’s great, but I do think it turned out okay.

Here’s a comparison to the original. The reason the original came out as good as it did is because I cheated on the dimensions (as I often did back then). So Oonch comes out WAY wider than he should. I respected Oonch’s proportions a lot better in the remake so it feels more like Oonch.

That’s all for this week. Have a great weekend everybody! More new stuff next week!
