Good time part reader! Thank you for dropping by my little slice of the web for an excursion into the mashing up of genres. Let us get to it.
The steampunk
Here’s a comparison to the original. This turned out a lot better than last week’s. I’m sad that apparently I can’t find the brush I used to color the first one because I’m not achieving the same effects anymore, but I still like how this one matches up against the original.
That’s all for this week. If anybody is looking for something to watch, I heartily recommend Sora yori mo Tooi Basho – A Place Further Than the Universe. It’s a a 13 episode anime from 2018 that I adored. There aren’t enough unique character designs for a full theme, but I will have to try to do something for it.

Hey all! I decided to take a break last week but I’m back now and ready to flashback!
It’s a little daunting going back to this theme since I consider that it was one of my stronger efforts from when I started getting a little more serious about these. Will the me that I am be as proud of these as the me I was then was of those? I guess I’ll find out.
We start with Cyran. It’s a solid outing but honestly it’s not quite what I was shooting for.
And of course the obligatory comparison between then and now. My lines are cleaner now, but I like the mood and posing of the original better.
