It’s Wednesday and you’ve all been very good this week so it’s time for your ol’ pal Carja to bring you a new mash-up. Enjoy.
When there’s trouble, you know who to call – TEEN TITANS!
From their tower they can see it all – TEEN TITANS!
That’s about as clear a lead-in as I can give. I love Teen Titans. I feel it was one of the better cartoons to come out of the 2000s. The first season is over ten years old. Wow! It feels like I was just watching it for the first time a year or two ago.
Anyhoo, here’s Nektara as Raven. Raven usually has the hood up, but I didn’t think I’d be able to really show that it was Nektara under the hood, so I chose to go with the hood down. For this series, I decided to use what I call animation-style shading. It’s very minimal, but I think it’s effective.
Any guesses as to which Titan will show up next week? What if I told you Todrick will be playing him? Well, come back next Wednesday to find out for sure! See you then!

I seem to recall that at some point over the weekend a subject occurred to me that I thought would make for a nice topic for discussion in this week’s blog. Well here we are on Monday and I can’t at all remember what that potential subject was. Oh well, no fun blog subjects for you.
I blitzed through Cowboy Bebop over the last two weekends. It still holds up as a great series. When Call Me, Call Me starts up at the end of Episode 24 …it still gets me (I’m listening to it as I’m writing this). Deema fans should know that if it weren’t for Edward, we wouldn’t have our favorite scaley today.
I’ve been drawing a lot of Mudd these last couple of weeks. I think I’m getting a handle on him. If there’s one thing I’m looking forward to finishing up the current storyline though, it’s that the entire main cast will be available to be featured.
Not much else to discuss this week. I’ll try to think of (and remember) a better topic for next week’s blog.

It’s finally Friday. This week has just seemed so loooooooong! It’s nice to know it’s coming to an end. What better way to celebrate than with a flashback?
It’s back to Star Wars this week. As always, click on any picture to enlarge it.
Here’s Cyran as Princess Leia. I once again chose to go with an outfit from the Empire Strikes Back. This time it was Leia’s Hoth Alliance uniform. I love Leia’s Bespin gown but it’d have been hard to keep Cyran looking like a boy in that. For this same reason, if I ever do Return of the Jedi mashups, you shouldn’t expect the golden bikini look for Cyran. 😉 There’s a scene where Leia is helping with the repairs on the Falcon and she has these goggles on and it just made so much sense to have Cyran wearing them. Again, I’m happy with the lines in the costume.
And here’s the comparison with the original mashup.
That’s it for this week! Next week, there’s going to be a colour war going on in the flashback! Don’t miss it!
