Hey! It’s Friday and I have the day off so I’m posting…in the middle of the afternoon! Crazy huh?

Here’s Barnaby as Sailor Chibi Moon. The idea behind this mash-up is so simple: Take my largest character and dress him up as the smallest character (that isn’t a cat). Whereas I chose to have Todrick be embarrassed in dressing up as Sailor Mercury, Barnaby is embracing being Chibi Moon.

Here’s a comparison to the original. When I look back at the original set, this is the piece that I felt most needed a remake. If taken by themselves, the head was “fine” and the body was “okay”, but put them together and oh boy. The scale was off. Part of the challenge of the Animus characters is that their heads are so large (like the Peanuts gang). Here, Barnaby’s head was just too small. I did a much better job (as you’d expect) in the remake.

That’s all for the Sailor Moon flashbacks. We have the two new pieces with Skitter and Chae coming up next. Skitter will be first next Friday. See you then!

Hello Joe!

Sleep was not my friend over the weekend. I slept very poorly on Friday. The wind was howling and kept waking me up. I got up early in the morning (much earlier than I would have liked considering my bedtime) and Saturday was a vegetative day as a result. Saturday night was a little better but not a whole lot. Last night? Meh. I hope to sleep soundly tonight.

I finally got my hands on Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay. It’s a game I backed on Kickstarter about a year and a half ago. It finally shipped and I got my copy. It looks SWEEEEEEEET! I can’t wait to get it to the table. The plan is for Thursday.

That’s all I’ve got for this week. Maybe next week my brain will be in less of a haze. Until then, have a good seven and we’ll do this again next Monday. Carja V.

Hey there Mash-up fans! It’s that time of the week again!

Here’s Cyran as the Moonlight Knight. That was such a weird part of the story.

Here’s a comparison to the original piece. The little things make a difference. Like changing which arm is extended. I couldn’t make it work the same way as before. I can’t figure out why.

That’s all for this week!
