Howdy Top Men and Top Women. I’m feeling a little cruddy today so I’ll be keeping the blog brief(er than usual).
I played some good games and one not so good game this week. Cash & Guns, Dragon Farkle, Dice City: good games. Batman The Animated Series: Almost Got ‘Im: Not so good. It’s a social deduction game which I’m not the biggest fan to begin with, but on top of that, the central poker collection mechanic is pretty clunky. I’d caution people to stay away from this one.
I can confirm that the next flashback set will be the Space Age of Animus series. I’m two pieces in and it’s coming out pretty well. The original set wasn’t terrible, but the lines are so much smoother now and the character design is a lot more set now. It’s still a definite improvement.
I’ve been playing a fair bit of Star Trek Timelines since Fab introduced it to me a couple of weeks ago. This past weekend they had an event that had a Robin Hood Picard character as a reward. It’s as if they’d been waiting for me to sign up to introduce him. Uncanny!
That’s all I’ve got for this week (and I really had to push to get even this much down). Have a good seven and we’ll do this all again next Monday as my shortened work weeks begin! Woo! Carja V.
